A classic favorite, smothered pork chops are tender and flavorful, cooked with a rich gravy made from cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, and spices. Perfect for a comforting weekly meal served with rice or potatoes.

1: Rinse your pork chops and pat dry. 2: Season your pork chops with the spices listed above to your preferred liking. Mix evenly. 3: To the flour, add the spices listed. 4: In a large skillet, add your vegetable oil and heat to medium-high heat. 5: Lightly dust your seasoned pork chops in the seasoned flour. 6: Once the oil is hot, add in two pork chops at a time to fry, flipping once golden brown. 7: Once fried, remove the pork chops and set aside. 8: Pour off some oil, leaving about 1 tbsp in the skillet. 9: Add sliced mushrooms and onions to the skillet. Turn heat down to medium and sauté for about 2 minutes, adding some pepper. 10: Add in cream of mushroom soup, milk, and water, whisking to mix. 11: Add Worcestershire sauce and let come to a simmer. 12: Add your pork chops back to the gravy, cover, and let simmer for 20 minutes. 13: Serve with rice, potatoes, or your choice.
