1: Add water about 3/4 of the way up of a large stock pot. 2: Add in your chicken. 3: Add chopped carrots, celery, onions, garlic, herb bundle, and peppercorns if desired. 4: Let that simmer for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, skimming off the top periodically. 5: Strain your broth in a colander. 6: Use a fat separator if you'd like. 7: Store your chicken broth in mason jars for 3 to 4 days or freeze it in bags or ice cube trays for up to 6 months.
