1: Heat a skillet to medium. 2: Add sausage to the skillet and break it down; add a little water to help it warm. 3: As the sausage browns, add in your chopped onions. 4: Cook until brown and drain excess fat. 5: Remove sausage from the skillet. 6: In the same skillet, add in butter and let it melt. 7: Stir in flour and cook for one to two minutes. 8: Add half and half and milk, whisking together. 9: Once reduced by 1/4, add sausage back to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes. 10: If gravy gets thick, loosen it up with warm water. 11: For biscuits, preheat oven to 375°F. 12: Shred frozen butter using a cheese grater. 13: Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. 14: Add shredded butter and mix until coarse. 15: Gradually add buttermilk until the dough leaves the bowl. 16: Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick on parchment paper. 17: Use a cutter to make biscuit rounds and place on a sheet pan, adding milk on top. 18: Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
