Caprese Salad with Prosciutto

It has to be the fresh flavors for me. This is quite possibly my favorite salad to make. There is nothing technical about it, which is the best part. I’m just here to inspire you to make it! Fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes and fresh garden basil, you can’t go wrong.

What you need

fresh basil leaves

oz prosciutto

oz fresh mozzarella

fl oz olive oil

fl oz balsamic glaze

tsp cracked black pepper

heirloom tomato

baguette
Instructions
0 1.Cut your fresh mozzarella and tomatoes into ¼ in slices. 1 2.On your plate, layer each ingredient into a circle or lines. Mozzarella, tomato, basil leaf, prosciutto. 2 Once your circle is complete, drizzle your entire salad with olive oil and balsamic glaze. 3 Add your seasoning of fresh cracked black pepper, and kosher salt 4 Slice your baguette into ¼ in rounds and place on a sheet pan. 5 Drizzle baguette with some olive oil. 6 Bake baguette at 375F for 10 minutes or until slightly golden. 7 Enjoy your caprese salad with your toasted baguette.View original recipe
