What you need

tbsp chili powder

cup water

tsp onion powder

tsp cayenne pepper

tsp kosher salt

tsp black pepper

tbsp avocado oil

lb sirloin steak

white onion

bell pepper

can fire roasted tomatoes

box cornbread mix

can chili beans
Instructions
1: Season your steak with salt and pepper. 2: Heat your pot to medium high heat and add in oil. 3: Once the oil is hot, add in your steak and sear until browned, then remove from the pot. 4: Add in all your chopped vegetables and seasonings, letting them sweat out for about 3 minutes. 5: Add in all of your liquids: tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili beans, and Better Than Bouillon Chili Base. 6: Return the meat to the pot along with water. 7: Let your chili cook for about one to two hours. 8: (Optional) Prepare the cornbread batter as per the instructions. 9: Add some chili to a crock and top it with a layer of cornbread batter. 10: Bake until golden brown and top with butter.
