What you need

tbsp unsalted butter

can refrigerated crescent rolls

tbsp white sugar

cup canola oil

oz vanilla frosting
Instructions
0 In a stock pot or Dutch oven heat canola oil to 365° F. 1 On a cutting board, unpackage and roll out half the roll of croissant. 2 Use a rolling pin to get rid of the seams in the croissants. 3 Take a sharp knife and cut the croissant sheet into half inch squares. 4 Check the temperature of your oil and once it is at 365° F drop four or five croissant squares into the stock pot. 5 The squares will float to the top as they start to fry. Using a slotted spoon or a mesh strainer, continue flipping the squares so that they brown evenly on both sides while they're cooking. 6 Once they are nice golden brown, using a slotted spoon, remove them from the oil, shake off excess and place them on a paper towel to drain. 7 In a medium sized bowl, add freshly cooked and drained croissant squares to your butter, flip them, until they're fully coated. 8 Next sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture all over the croissant bites. 9 Heat in a medium sized microwave. Safe bowl heat pre packaged frosting for 30 seconds to 1 minute until melted. 10 Take a spoon and drizzle over the tops of your cinnamon sugar croissant bites. 11 Serve and enjoy!View original recipe
