Honey Butter Rolls

What you need
egg

tbsp unsalted butter

tsp table salt

oz all purpose flour

tbsp milk
tbsp liquid honey

tbsp honey

pinch salt

tbsp dairy milk

egg yolk
Instructions
1. Warm the milk, melted butter, and honey together on low heat until smooth and bring it to 115°F. 2. Add the mixture to your mixer bowl with yeast, egg, and yolks, and whisk. 3. Mix flour and salt separately, then add to the bowl. 4. Knead on medium for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. If sticky, remove it from the bowl and lift-and-fold with lightly wet hands, then sprinkle in a touch of flour until smooth and elastic. 5. Cover and let rise in a warm spot (no hotter than 100°F) until doubled. 6. Punch the dough down and turn onto a floured surface, and divide into pieces. 7. Flatten each piece, add a dollop of honey butter in the center, then pull edges in and seal tight. Roll into smooth balls. 8. Place on a parchment-lined baking dish, ½ inch apart, and let rise again until puffy. 9. Brush with egg wash. 10. Bake at 325°F for 25 minutes until golden. 11. Brush with honey butter and finish with flake salt.
