What you need

tbsp vinegar
cup cornstarch

tsp baking powder

tsp cayenne pepper

cup milk

lb squid

cup flour

fl oz chili oil
lemon

tsp old bay seasoning

Instructions
1: Clean your squid. 2: Cut your squid into circles or long strips. Cut your sweet peppers likewise. 3: Place your squid in one bowl and your peppers in another bowl. 4: In a mixing bowl, add milk, vinegar, and salt. 5: Whisk together and let sit for 5 minutes before covering your squid and peppers with the milk mixture. 6: Pour the mixture over the squid and peppers just to cover. 7: Place both in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour. 8: In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, Old Bay, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well. 9: Dredge the calamari and peppers in the flour mixture and let sit for 3 minutes before frying. 10: Fry the calamari at 355°F until golden brown and crispy.
