Instructions
1: Heat your oven to 375°F. 2: Trim your chicken thighs down, removing any extra fat using kitchen shears or a paring knife. 3: Place your chicken in a bowl and add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasonings, and kosher salt. 4: Heat your cast iron skillet to medium-high heat. Once hot, add two teaspoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. 5: Once the butter and oil are bubbling, add your chicken thighs to the skillet, skin side down. 6: Cook until the chicken is golden brown and the skin is crispy, then turn it over. 7: Once golden on both sides, move the skillet into the oven. 8: In a small saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter, honey, brown sugar, hot sauce, and lemon juice over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. 9: Remove from heat once the glaze bubbles rapidly. 10: Remove chicken from the oven, pour glaze over the top, and use a basting brush to spread it. 11: Place the chicken back into the oven for 10-12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. 12: Serve HOT and enjoy!View original recipe
