Instructions
1: Heat your oven to 375° F. 2: Trim your chicken thighs by removing any extra fat using kitchen shears or a paring knife. 3: Place your chicken in a bowl and add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasonings, and kosher salt. 4: Heat your cast iron skillet to medium-high heat. Add two teaspoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil once the skillet is hot. 5: Add your chicken thighs to the skillet, skin side down, and cook until golden brown and the skin is crispy. 6: Once golden on both sides, move your cast iron skillet into the oven. 7: Heat a small saucepan to medium-high heat and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, honey, brown sugar, hot sauce, and lemon juice. 8: Stir the sauce continuously until the sugar dissolves, then remove from heat once it bubbles rapidly. 9: Remove your chicken from the oven and pour the glaze over the top, using a basting brush to spread it. 10: Place the chicken back into the oven for 10-12 minutes until the glaze sticks to the skin. 11: Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165° F, then remove from the oven. Serve hot and enjoy!View original recipe
