Classic oven baked ribs made with a blend of spices, brown sugar, and a tangy barbecue sauce, reminiscent of mom's cooking. These ribs are cooked low and slow for tender results, then broiled for a perfect caramelized finish.

What you need

tbsp kosher salt

cup barbecue sauce

tbsp garlic powder

cup brown sugar

tbsp chili powder

tbsp liquid smoke

tsp cayenne pepper

tsp oregano

tbsp apple cider vinegar

cup chicken stock

tsp pepper
cup bacon drippings
Instructions
1: Preheat your oven to 250° F. 2: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. 3: Season your ribs with the spices listed. 4: In a separate bowl, mix together chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and liquid smoke. 5: Place your ribs on a baking sheet. 6: Cover the bottom of the sheet pan with your liquid mixture. 7: Wrap your ribs with foil and cook for 2 and ½ hours. 8: After 2 and ½ hours, carefully remove your ribs from the oven. 9: Use half a cup of the juice and mix it with some barbecue sauce. 10: Brush the top of your ribs with the barbecue sauce. 11: Increase the heat to a broil setting. 12: Broil ribs until the barbecue sauce has caramelized slightly. 13: Once the ribs are caramelized, remove them from the oven. 14: Let your ribs rest for about 15 minutes before slicing into them. 15: Serve them up and enjoy!View original recipe
