What you need

cup vegetable broth

tbsp garlic powder

tbsp cajun seasoning

cup red beans

oz butter

tbsp onion powder
bay leaf

andouille sausage
tbsp EVOO

cup cooked jasmine rice
Instructions
1: In a large pot on medium high heat, add half of the olive oil. 2: Heat and then add in your sliced sausage, brown until slightly caramelized, then remove from the pot. 3: Add the rest of the extra virgin olive oil to the pot. 4: Add in all of your vegetables, sauté for a few minutes until translucent. 5: Add in all of your seasonings and sauté for 1 to 2 more minutes. 6: Add in your soaked beans, sausage, liquids, and bay leaf. 7: Cover and let simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. 8: At the 45 minute mark, check the tenderness of the beans. 9: Once your beans are tender, add in your butter. 10: Let the butter melt down for creamy beans, then let sit for about 5 minutes before serving with your rice.View original recipe
